Four Invicta players were involved in action elsewhere this weekend as the Southern Counties East Football League kicked off.
Headlines were made by Fin Dent who made his debut for Kennington in their trip to Corinthian as he scored the opening goal of the SCEFL season in less than a minute at Gay Dawn Farm. The young striker volleyed home a cross at the near post to give his side the lead, although they would eventually be beaten 5-1 by Michael Golding’s side.
A mere consolation in the end, but a special moment for young forward @dentyy9 who opened the scoring for the new @SCEFLeague campaign within two minutes of his debut.
Our thanks to @CorinthianFC yesterday for their hospitality.

Both Elliott Moore and Lenny Atherton were involved for Deal Town in a 3-1 defeat away to Fisher. Defender Moore made his debut and played the full 90 minutes while Atherton replaced former Invicta man Connor Coyne at half time.
