Biography

Son of former Folkestone Invicta forward Nick Dent, Fin is a product of both Folkestone Invicta Academy and Folkestone Invicta Youth where he has proven to be a prolific goalscorer.

Broke into the U18 side as a 16 year old, scoring his first goal against Faversham Town in May 2021. Scored 25 goals for the U18 side across 2 seasons, winning the Paul Sykes Trophy for top scorer during the 2022/23 season.

Joined Folkestone Invicta Academy as a founding scholar in 2021. Scored 85 goals in 3 seasons, winning top goalscorer during the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons.

Part of the Folkestone Invicta Academy side that completed a treble during the 2023/24 season, winning the Tactic League T3 East, Tactic League T3 Cup and Tactic League T3 Champion of Champions playoff. Scored a hat-trick in both finals.

Made his senior debut in a Kent Senior Cup tie against Margate in November 2022 and his first Isthmian Premier Division appearance against Kingstonian in April 2023. Scored his first 1st team goal during a pre-season friendly against Brightlingsea Regent in the summer of 2023.

Spent the 2023/24 season on a dual-registration with SCEFL side Kennington where he scored 14 goals in 43 appearances (19 starts).
