Elsewhere in the FA Cup, Elliott Moore started for Deal Town away at Lydd Town. The hosts where 2-0 up with 8 minutes to play when an injury to former Invicta ‘keeper Henry Newcombe saw the match abandoned. We are glad to hear that Henry is now on the mend and the tie will be replayed on Bank Holiday Monday.
Thanks everyone for the messages I have received!
Discharged this morning from hospital with positive X-rays & CT scans than first thought. Thanks to both @DealTownFC @lyddtownfc for the response and concern!
Time to rest up and looking forward to getting back to it π€π€ pic.twitter.com/8NoEAtkAAJβ Henry Newcombe (@henrynewcombe1) August 20, 2023
