Invicta kick off pre-season for 2023 as we welcome Jay Saunders’ Tonbridge Angels side to the Alcaline Stadium on Tuesday night. It is the first of eight pre-season fixtures as we prepare for the 23/24 Isthmian Premier Division season. All of our fixtures can be found here.
Tonbridge visited last summer when they ran out 3-0 winners. Highlights from the fixture can be found here.
From The Managers
Following training on Saturday afternoon, joint-Head Coach Micheal Everitt spoke to Invicta TV
You can expect to see a number of both new and familiar faces in our black & amber stripes on Tuesday evening. All four summer signings (Kane Penn, Andy Drury, Jake Goodman & Ade Cole) trained with their new teammates this week and should take to the field for the first time in Invicta colours (or not, in the case of the returning Andy Drury). A number of youth and academy players have also trained with the first team this week and may well feature.
All of our pre-season friendlies are priced at £5 for adults (age 16-64), £3 concessions (age over 65) and FREE for under 16s. Admission will be pay on the gate with cash and card is accepted on both turnstiles. Season tickets and Junior Passports are not valid for pre-pre-season fixtures.
Food & Drink
Bar Invicta and The Seasider will all be open from 6:30pm, both accept cash and card. The food van and tea hut will also be open but will accept CASH ONLY. The Wilf Armory Bar will NOT be open for our midweek pre-season friendlies but will reopen on Saturday 22nd July when we host Faversham Town.
