We are delighted to announce the Lenny Atherton has agreed terms to spend the 2023/24 season at the Alcaline Stadium.

“Afe”, who broke into the 1st team in December 2021 as a substitute for Alfie Paxman in a 5-0 win over Haringey Borough, going on to score his first senior goal later that month in a 6-1 win over Merstham, a goal which would win him the December 2021 Goal of the Month award.

Lenny has since gone on to notch up 12 appearances for Invicta with 2 goals and an assist, as well as picking up a Kent Senior Runners Up medal in 2022 as he came off the bench in the defeat to Dartford in the final.

This season he has gone on to become a key member of both the Under 18 and Academy teams as well as the side that went to the semifinal of the Kent Intermediate Cup.

As well as his appearances in a black & amber shirt, Lenny made 6 appearances for SCEFL club Deal Town last season, including picking up a runners up medal in the Kent Senior Trophy, scoring twice for the hoops.
