Born in Yorkshire. With a lack of footballing opportunities, Rebecca competed in hockey and running as a teenager.

Began coaching football in schools before coaching Grasshoppers youth football and Shepway district football.

Moved to Folkestone Invicta Youth in 2018 with the U12 team that would eventually become the first ever Folkestone Invicta Women’s team in 2024.
