Folkestone Invicta can confirm that Scott Heard has departed the football club in search of more regular game time.

Scott has been a huge part of the club for nearly a decade, making 274 appearances and scoring 42 goals in 2 spells since first joining in November 2015.

The midfielder left the club for Dagenham & Redbridge in October 2016 but returned the following summer.

“Heardy” has made 26 appearances so far this season, scoring once, his final goal for the club coming in last month’s win at Enfield Town.

We would like to thank Scott for everything he has done for the football club over the past 9 years and we wish him all the best for the next chapter in his career.

A message from Scott:

I want to express my gratitude to Folkestone, the managers, staff and all players I’ve worked with, most importantly at any club the fans, had many special times shared along the way! Promotion, Eastleigh in the cup, challenging for playoffs! Have enjoyed my time here and played my best football and have to add incredibly huge thanks to Cugs who helped me along the way, top, top manager and human! Hopefully you could all see that I always gave my best efforts and stayed loyal to the club. Great to see the progression the club is building. It’s time for me to move on but I wish you all the best, take care and thank you

Heardy
