The Odds Are Out!

It’s taken a while for any of the bookmakers to come out with the odds, but finally William Hill have published them for the forthcoming Isthmian League Premier Division season. With Worthing finally promoted, it promises to be one of the most open title races for a while.

Invicta are third favourites at 8/1 with Hornchurch seen as the team to beat at 5/1, with Billericay Town, who are trying to get back into the National League South at the first attempt, and perhaps a bit more surprising, Bognor Regis Town, priced at 7/1.

The usual suspects, Bishop’s Stortford, Carshalton Athletic and Enfield Town, come next.

Of the other new clubs in the Division, North Division Champions Aveley (50/1), and South East Division Champions Hastings United (25/1) both seem to be more highly priced than expected whilst the two who joined them, Canvey Island and Herne Bay, are 40/1 and 66/1 respectively, with the latter one of the favourites to go down.

If you’re looking for a decent each-way bet with a bit of value, Sammy Moore’s rebuilt Potters Bar Town at 25/1 doesn’t look a bad punt if you’re not putting your money on Invicta of course!!

If you’re having a bet, good luck!
