Milestones

The 50th goal in this season’s Premier Division was scored either by Daniel Ajakaiye of Kingstonian with his second goal at Bishop’s Stortford in ‘The Ks’ 5-2 win, or  Coleman De-Graft of Lewes in their home 2-2 draw against Cheshunt, as both scored in the 52nd minute on Saturday 21st August ‘21.

 

The 100th goal in this season’s Premier Division was scored by Hornchurch’s Sam Higgins, who scored his and his side’s second goal in the 25th minute of their 4-0 win over Potters Bar Town on Monday 30th August ’21.

 

The 150th goal in this season’s Premier Division was scored by Liam Smyth of Wingate & Finchley in the 86th minute of their 3-1 defeat at Bowers & Pitsea on Saturday 11th September ‘21.

 

The 200th goal in this season’s Premier Division was scored by Bilal Sayoud, also of Wingate & Finchley, who put his side 1-0 ahead in the 15th minute at Bognor Regis Town on Saturday 25th September ‘21. 

 

The 250th goal in this season’s Premier Division was scored by Adam Coombes of Cray Wanderers, this time against Wingate & Finchley in their 5-3 home defeat on Wednesday 29th September ‘21. Coombes scored in the 69th minute to reduce ‘The Wands’ deficit to 4-2 having come on as a substitute just two minutes previously. 

 

The 300th goal in this season’s Premier Division was the 76th minute winner scored by Daniel Ajakaiye, of Kingstonian at Bowers & Pitsea on Saturday 9th October ’21.    

 

Two players can lay claim to the Premier Division’s 350th goal this season as both scored in the 45th minute on Saturday 16th October ‘21. Sam Hatton scored Wingate & Finchley’s second in their 3-1 win at Brightlingsea Regent, whilst Percy Kiangebeni scored Enfield Town’s first equaliser in their 2-2 draw at Worthing.  

 

On Saturday 23rd October ‘21, it went goal mad with forty-two goals in the eleven games and three players could lay claim to the Premier Division’s 400th goal as they all scored in the 75th minute. Reece Beckles Richards scored Cheshunt’s second goal in their 4-0 home win against Cray Wanderers, whilst John Ufuah scored Merstham’s winner from the penalty spot as they won 3-2 at Leatherhead, and finally, Joe Taylor’s penalty brought Lewes back in the game as he scored their third goal in their exciting 5-4 defeat at Worthing.   

 

The 450th goal of the Premier Division season was scored on Saturday 6th November ‘21 by Iffy Allen of Lewes in their 1-1 draw at Bishop’s Stortford, as he scored in the 86th minute.

 

There are two players laying claim to the 500th goal of the Premier Division as on Tuesday 16th November ‘21, when late goals were the fashion, they both scored in the 88th minute. Enfield Town’s Nathan Smith thought he had saved a point at Bishop’s Stortford, but the home side went on to score the winner in a 2-1 victory six minutes into time added on at the end of the game. Whilst at Brightlingsea Regent, it looked like Michael Ademiluyi  had scored a late consolation for Bowers & Pitsea, but they remarkably then scored two further goals to snatch a 3-2 victory. 

 

Callum Davies’ last-gasp equaliser in the 89th minute of Folkestone Invicta’s game at Cray Wanderers on Wednesday 24th November ‘21, was the 550th goal in the Premier Division this season.

 

The 600th goal of the Premier Division season was scored by Alfred Bowling of Haringey Borough in the 58th minute of  their game against Bognor Regis Town, which ended 3-3 on Saturday 4th December ‘21.

 

The 650th goal of the season was an own goal as Margate’s Ben White put through his own net in the 59th minute of their game at Kingstonian on Saturday 11th December ’21, it was their second goal and ‘The Ks’ went on to win 3-1.  

The 700th goal in the Premier Division season was scored by Bishop Stortford’s Chris Harris with their second goal in the 45th minute of a 3-1 win at Bowers & Pitsea on Monday 27th December ‘21.

 

The season’s 750th goal in the Premier Division was scored on New Year’s Day by Elliott Buchanan of Kingstonian, whose 70th minute strike was the winner for ‘The Ks’ in their 3-2 victory at local rivals Leatherhead.

 

Although there were only four games played on Saturday 8th January ’22, the first goal of the afternoon scored by Ollie Cook in the 3rd minute of Kingstonian’s 4-2 win at Brightlingsea Regent was the 800th goal of the Premier Division season.
