ANDY DRURY Midfield/Forward.
ANDY DRURY (Midfield): Signed from Cray Wanderers in January 2022, where he had been Assistant Player-Manager to Danny Kedwell before the latter left the club in December 2021. He had joined Cray from Sittingbourne in July 2021, where he had originally begun his career in 2001 before joining Gravesend & Northfleet in 2003. After a spell at Lewes (July 2006-July 2008) he joined Stevenage Borough and helped the club win the F A Trophy in 2008-09 with a 2-0 win over York City at Wembley. He was then part of the Stevenage side that won the Conference in 2009-10, finishing ahead of Luton Town, Oxford United, Rushden & Diamonds and York City. He had a short spell at Luton Town when they were in the Conference during 2010-11 and scored twice in their 2-2 F A Cup draw against Charlton Athletic. Andy was then signed by Ipswich Town in the Championship for a transfer worth £150,000 in January 2011, where he made 64 appearances in two seasons, scoring twice. He subsequently joined Crawley Town, initially on loan and scoring on his debut in a 3-1 victory over Bradford City, before returning to Luton Town, now back in the Football League, in the summer of 2014 for £100,000. He returned to the Conference with Eastleigh in 2015-16 and then had spells with Ebbsfleet and Havant & Waterlooville before returning to Sittingbourne in September 2020. Date of birth: November 28, 1983.
