Invicta return to league action on Tuesday evening as we make our second trip of the season to Parkside, this time to take on Hashtag United.

Supporters’ Coach

Our supporters’ coach is sold out for the trip to Parkside. Bookings are open for November’s away fixtures and can be booked by clicking here.

Kit

Invicta will be in our sky blue away kit, with our hosts in yellow.

From The Manager

Jay Saunders spoke following Saturday’s win at Burgess Hill: “Our focus is now on Hashtag on Tuesday, which won’t be an easy game.

“We’re in a very busy run of fixtures that is going to test us as a team and as a squad and we need to be ready for every game, take them one at a time and pick up points as we head towards Christmas.”

The Opposition

Having achieved 13th and 8th place finishes in the two seasons since promotion from the Isthmian North Division, it’s been a tough start to the season for Hashtag United who currently sit 16th in the Isthmian Premier Division, with 12 points from 13 games. The Tags have only picked up four wins in all competitions so far this campaign, so will be looking to pick up a vital win against Jay Saunders’ side to kickstart their season.

The Manager

It’s not often you come across a club that has only had one manager in their entire history, but Jay Devereux is the only man to ever lead Hashtag United. Appointed in 2018 when The Tags entered the NLS at step 6, Jay has led the club to three promotions in that time. He also led them to the 2024 Velocity Cup Final where they lost to Chatham Town at Aveley.

One To Watch

Former Canvey Island frontman Bradley Sach made the short move to Parkside in the summer and has hit the ground running with seven goals so far in all competitions – making him Hashtag United’s top scorer.

Familiar Faces

Invicta fans will be familiar with Hashtag United winger Evans Kouassi who spent last season at the Alcaline Stadium, scoring nine times in 34 appearances.
