No rest for the wicked, Invicta are back on the road on Tuesday evening as we travel to face Cray Wanderers at Flamingo Park.

Invicta will be looking to build on an opening day draw at Chichester City, a debut goal from Jake Hutchinson helping to secure Invicta a point. You can hear from Jake on Invicta TV.

Team News

Invicta came out of Saturday’s trip to Chichester with no additional injury worries, so could head to Flamingo Park with an unchanged squad.

Kit

Invicta will be taking to the field in our sky blue away kit, with our hosts in yellow and black.

From The Manager

First-team manager Jay Saunders spoke to Invicta TV following Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Chichester:

“Tuesday will be a tough game, Cray have started the season well with a good win against Canvey. They’ve got a good side of experienced players mixed with youth and pace.

“We’re expecting a different game to the one we played against Chichester today, but we’re very much looking forward to it.

“This early part of the season, playing a Saturday then a Tuesday, our squad will come into action but we will pick a side that’s capable of going out and winning the game.”

The Opposition

Now settled in their new home at Flamingo Park, Cray Wanderers will be looking to build on last season’s 10th-place finish under the leadership of Tim O’Shea.

Pre-Season

One To Watch

40-year-old Chris Dickson bagged himself a debut goal on Saturday after joining Cray Wanderers from Sittingbourne.
