Folkestone Invicta Under 19s have been drawn at home to Corinthian U23 in the 1st round of the Kent Intermediate Cup, with the tie due to be played the week commencing Monday 23rd September.
The draw will bring a familiar face to the Alcaline Stadium, with Corinthian U23s being managed by former Invicta forward Ira Jackson Jr.
The Kent Intermediate Cup is a Kent FA competition for Reserve, U23, U21 or U19 teams of clubs who compete in the Kent Senior Cup or Senior Trophy. Invicta’s U19 side will be the youngest side in this year’s competition, which this season predominantly consists of U23 teams plus a handful of reserve sides.
Paul Stanton’s side will be looking to go a step further than the past two seasons, having fallen in the semi-final to Rusthall Reserves in 2023 and eventual winners Deal Town Reserves in 2024.
More details on the tie will be announced in due course.
