Folkestone Invicta Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Dean Rance on a 2-year contract.
Dean will be no stranger to Invicta supporters having played 16 times for the club during the second half of the 2023/24 season after signing on loan from Scunthorpe United in January.
The 32 year old comes with a wealth of experience having played 234 times for Ebbsfleet United (where he played alongside Drury), as well as spells at Aldershot Town and Dagenham & Redbridge.
Manager Andy Drury spoke about his first signing of the summer: “We’re delighted to get Dean signed on so quickly after the end of the season. He is without a doubt one of the best midfielders in this league, bringing good experience, leadership and quality, he wins his tackles and headers and gives you everything you want from a central midfielder.
Lots of conversations are ongoing with both our current players and those we want to bring into the club and this is a good start to what we expect to be an exciting summer at the club.”
Welcome (back) to Cheriton Road, Dean Rance.
