We are delighted to announce that Folkestone Invicta Academy and U18 forward Kian Scott has signed 1st team forms.

The 17 year old has scored 27 goals for Invicta teams so far this season, including 21 goals in 12 appearances for our Academy and 2 goals in our Kent Intermediate Cup campaign.

Kian has joined the 1st team for training in recent weeks having impressed as the Academy side’s top goalscorer this season.

Kian is the 8th product of the Academy to sign forms for the 1st team and made an appearance during our friendly with Gillingham ‘B’ in October

Speaking about Kian, Academy Manager Paul Stanton said: “Kian is an excellent player with an infectious personality, he won’t be phased by this step up and definitely has the ability and attitude to succeed. The Academy is going from strength to strength and having this call up shows everyone what application can do. He’s been excellent for the U18s as well and has been training with the first team for a few weeks now and positive conversations with Andy Drury has really helped that transition.”
