Folkestone Invicta can confirm the signing of Ryan Kingsford from Ramsgate.

The 24-year old has made 24 appearances for the Thanet club this season in all competitions, including featuring against Jay Saunders’ side in our dramatic 3-2 win at Southwood Stadium last month.

Ryan began his senior career with Hollands & Blair before moving to university in the United States. Returning to England in 2024, Ryan joined Isthmian South East side Sittingbourne where he scored 19 goals in 55 appearances last season.

Manager Jay Saunders spoke about his latest signing: “I’m really pleased to bring Ryan to the football club. He is a player we spoke to in the summer and thing’s didn’t quite happen then but the chance has come to bring him in now and it makes sense, especially with our injury situation at the moment.

“Ryan is a player I’ve known about for a few years. He possesses quality both on and off the ball and can create and score goals. He knows a few of the lads already and will fit in well with the group and be a welcome addition to the squad.”

Ryan joins up with the Invicta squad ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Carshalton Athletic.

Welcome to Cheriton Road, Ryan.
