The Opposition

Aveley travel to Cheriton Road with the only remaining unbeaten away record in the division, with six wins and four draws from their ten games on the road so far this season. The only sides to take wins from Aveley so far this campaign are Invicta and Chatham Town, both at Parkside.

While Invicta struck in the 94th minute on Saturday to maintain our record of scoring in every match so far this season, Aveley have only failed to find the net once.

Aveley held a near perfect record over Invicta with three wins and a draw from four meetings until our trip to Parkside in September. Aveley struck early but goals from Liam Smith, Montel McKenzie, Donell Thomas, Ben Mason and Jake Hutchinson fired Invicta to a 5-2 win.

Goals may well be expected this evening with both teams having scored in all five previous meetings between the clubs.
