The Opposition
Ramsgate lifted the Isthmian South East Division title in April with 109 points to see off the challenge from Sittingbourne. After an up and down start to the season, a 5-0 defeat at Aveley saw the departure of title-winning manager Ben Smith and the appointment of Lee Martin which has seen an upturn in form with just one defeat from eight league fixtures and a run to the quarter finals of the Velocity Cup.

Martin began his playing career at Manchester United where he made a single Premier League appearance before making 349 appearances in the EFL for a number of clubs including Ipswich Town, Charlton Athletic, Millwall and Gillingham.
One To Watch
Alfie Paxman is Ramsgate’s top scorer this season with 10 goals, all scored in the Isthmian Premier Division. A face well known to Invicta supporters, Paxman made 147 appearances during his time at Cheriton Road with 34 goals to his name between 2018 and 2022.

As well as Alfie Paxman, Invicta supporters will be familiar with former captain Ian Gayle and midfielder Eze Ebuzoeme.
