Folkestone Invicta Women maintained their 100% home record this season with a 6-0 victory over Faversham Town Women at the Alcaline Stadium.
Mark Janser’s side were dominant but struggled to turn chances into goals until first half injury time when full-back Ria Lowery-Jones was gifted possession 30 yards from goal and fired home over the stranded Faversham goalkeeper.
Hayley Turrell quickly made in two in the fifth minute of added time, seeing a first effort well saved before firing the rebound in off the underside of the crossbar.
Turrell turned provider for Invicta’s third after 67 minutes, beating the Faversham keeper to a ball in behind the defence before squaring to Hayley Orris who finished her first of the afternoon.
Six minutes later Orris was quickest to a pass from Chloe Lloyd, beating her defender to the ball to fire into the bottom corner.
Orris then completed a 12-minte hat-trick, holding off a defender to fire home inside the penalty area.
Lloyd completed the scoring in the 92nd minute after Faversham failed to clear a corner, lifting an effort high over the goalkeeper from a tight angle.
Invicta Women are back at the Alcaline Stadium on Sunday 23rd November when they host Park Regis in the SECWFL Kent Division One East.
