Folkestone Invicta is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Adam Lovatt.

The 26-year-old joins Invicta from Hashtag United where he made seven appearances since joining the club in September.

Prior to this, Adam represented Eastbourne Borough and Hastings United before joining League Two side Sutton United. After loan spells with Tonbridge Angels, Dartford and Farnborough, Adam rejoined Hastings for two seasons before departing in the summer.

On his signing, Jay Saunders said: “I’d like to extend a big welcome to Adam.

“He and I met up in the summer and unfortunately we couldn’t get anything sorted at the time. But he’s someone we’ve kept tabs on ever since and after losing Biv, I felt it was really important we brought someone of Adam’s mould into the squad.

“He’s played at higher levels and knows us as a management team well – he actually played with Parky at Tonbridge Angels.

“Adam’s someone we’ve liked for a long time and I think he’ll be a really positive addition to the team.”

Welcome to Cheriton Road, Adam.
