Team News
Midfielder Bivesh Gurung departed the club this week following an approach from a National League South Club.
Jay Saunders added to his squad with the addition of defender Ike Orji, while Finley Marjoram also departed the club.
The Opposition
Dulwich Hamlet head into the weekend 5th in the Isthmian Premier Division with 17 points from their opening 10 games. After beginning the season with a perfect record – four wins from four and no goals conceded – a 1-0 defeat to Whitehawk has sparked a run of just one win in eight, including exits in the FA Cup and FA Trophy to Whitstable Town and Hendon respectively.

The Manager
Mark Dacey took over as Dulwich Hamlet manager in the summer having previously managed Sevenoaks Town in the Isthmian South East Division, SCEFL Division One side Forest Hill Park (otherwise known as SE Dons) and Rayners Lane of the Isthmian League North. With Dulwich having finished just one place above the bottom four last season, Dacey has been tasked with a rebuild at Champion Hill as the best supported club look to be closer to a return to the National League South rather than a drop to the Isthmian South East Division.
Familiar Faces
Invicta fans will be all too familiar with the dangers posed by Luke Wanadio and Amadou Kassaraté should they line up against us on Saturday afternoon. Wanadio spent the second half of the 2021/22 season at Cheriton Road and has been Dulwich’s talisman since returning to the club in the summer of 2023 with 50 goals in 108 games, including a strike at Cheriton Road last season. Kassaraté scored Invicta’s double in the 2-1 win, making 41 appearances for the club last season and scoring seven times before making the move to south London in the summer.
Recent Meetings
Invicta beat Dulwich 2-1 at the Alcaline Stadium last season but have just two wins in 12 meetings over the past 13 years. Our recent record makes for better reading, with two wins apiece from the last five meetings since 2022.
