Folkestone Invicta are delighted to announce the signing of Finley Marjoram.

A Folkestone boy, Finley signed for Premier League side Crystal Palace at the age of eight, progressing through their academy ranks to play for their U18 and U21 sides before departing Selhurst Park in the summer.

The 19-year-old defender joined Isthmian South East side AFC Croydon Athletic on loan last season, making nine appearances.

Manager Jay Saunders said: “I’m really delighted to get Fin on board, he’s a local lad who has done well and spent the last ten years training and playing a high level academy.”

“It gives us some competition in the wing-back areas and adds some real quality to the squad.”

Finley goes straight into Jay Saunders’ squad for today’s trip to Burgess Hill Town.
