Following Friday evening’s FA Cup win over Maidstone at Chatham, Invicta now return to Isthmian League action on Monday night as we travel through the Dartford Tunnel to Parkside where Aveley await.
Invicta can go as high as second with a win this evening, behind early leaders Brentwood Town, while Aveley will be looking to take themselves to within touching distance of the play-offs.

From The Manager
First-team manager Jay Saunders spoke to Invicta TV following Friday night’s win over Maidstone: “It will be a difficult game on Monday night. We have to prepare right because it’s never easy going there.
“We have to make sure we carry on doing what we are doing – don’t come off script and don’t get carried away.”
Jay also spoke about new signing Bivesh Gurung, who made his debut on Friday evening: “Biv will give us good competition and I thought he had a good debut against Maidstone in the FA Cup, considering as well that he hadn’t met any of the lads.
“I felt when we lost Maxx [Manktelow], we needed a player of that stature who does the ugly side, does the basics well and he’s a good lad who will buy into what we’re doing.”
