Folkestone Invicta are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Ronnie Dolan.
Ronnie is certainly a familiar face to Invicta supporters, who quickly noticed his inclusion as ‘Trialist 20’ in our opening pre-season fixtures against Hythe Town and Sheppey United.

Neil Cugley brought Ronnie to Invicta from Hastings United in 2014, making 315 appearances during a nine-year spell at Cheriton Road, the 11th highest of all time.
Ronnie began his career as a 16-year-old at Ashford Town before a three-year spell with neighbours Hythe Town. Since departing Invicta in the summer of 2023, Ronnie has spent two seasons with SCEFL side Lydd Town.

Manager Jay Saunders spoke about his latest summer signing: “Really happy to bring Ronnie back to the club. He’s come in for pre-season with the lads and has done well.”
“He knows the club well, has a good relationship with the supporters and is a player who always gave everything for the club.”
“He offers us a lot of experience and versatility and has fitted in well with the group.”
Welcome back to Cheriton Road, Ronnie.
