Folkestone Invicta are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Jeremy Santos.

The 22-year-old is a product of Charlton Athletic and has spent most of the last three seasons at Tonbridge Angels working with Jay Saunders.

He joined Tonbridge for the first of three loan spells in August 2022 before eventually making a permanent move to Longmead last summer. Jeremy made a total of 42 appearances in the National League South, scoring four times.

Jeremy also has experience playing in the Isthmian Premier Division, having spent the final three months of last season on loan at Canvey Island where he made 13 appearances, scoring once.

Manager Jay Saunders spoke about the latest addition to his squad: “I am delighted to bring Jeremy to Folkestone Invicta. He is a player we have known and worked with for a few years so we know what he is capable of.”

“Supporters will love his style of play; he’s creative, attacking, passionate, and he scores and creates goals – often special goals.”

“He’s a young lad with lots of promise and is a great addition to the squad.”

Jeremy has joined up with the squad for training this week as we work towards our opening pre-season fixture away to Hythe Town on Saturday.

Welcome to Cheriton Road, Jeremy.
