Folkestone Invicta Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of defender Ben Mason.
Ben is a product of AFC Wimbledon, where he captained their academy side that won the EFL Youth Alliance South East.
After signing his first professional contract in 2022, Ben spent time on loan at Basingstoke, Braintree Town and Farnborough.
After departing Wimbledon in 2024, Ben joined Farnborough permanently, and has since had spells with Chertsey, Hemel Hempstead and spent the end of last season in the Isthmian Premier Division with Dulwich Hamlet.
Supporters have already seen Ben in action – the 21-year-old joined up with the squad last week, starting and scoring against Ashford United before playing an hour during Saturday’s win at Bradford (Park Avenue) as “Trialist Two”.

Manager Jay Saunders spoke about his latest addition: “Ben is someone I’ve come close to signing before but never quite managed to get it done, so I’m delighted to get him on board this summer.
“He has great experience across non-league at a young age, being part of Braintree’s promotion from the National South.
“He’s a lad I’ve admired for a while – he’s committed, professional, will add real quality to the squad, give everything for the badge and I’m sure supporters will love watching him.”
Welcome to Cheriton Road, Ben.
