Groundshare & Fixtures

Now that we’ve secured a groundshare arrangement with Margate FC, we are working closely with them, the league and other clubs to finalise the dates for any home fixtures that will need to be played there. 

While some of you may have seen St Albans City FC announce a fixture at Margate on Wednesday 20th August, please note this date is not confirmed. Once we have clarity on the revised schedule, we will update supporters immediately.

To support our season ticket holders during this period, we will be providing free coach travel for any fixtures played at Margate. In addition, we will be crediting loyalty points to season ticket accounts, which can be redeemed in The Dugout Sports Bar & Kitchen for food and drink. Full details on this will follow in due course.

Cheriton Road Pitch Update

We’re pleased to confirm that good progress continues to be made on the new 3G pitch at Cheriton Road. The muck-away and ground stabilisation phase is now complete and the next stage will see the delivery of stone and the installation of drainage and ducting.

We remain fully on track for completion by early October, and this schedule is being closely monitored by the club’s directors and project team to ensure we stay on course.
