Folkestone Invicta are delighted to announce the signing of Miquel Scarlett.
The fullback joined up with Andy Drury’s side last week before making his debut in Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to Cray Wanderers at Flamingo Park.
Miquel is a product of Gillingham, where he made his professional debut in September 2018 in an EFL Trophy fixture against Portsmouth. Miquel spent time on loan at Sheppey United before departing Priestfield in 2019, joining Colchester United. The defender made his debut in the EFL Cup against Reading before making his Football League debut in October 2019 against Walsall.
After departing Colchester in 2021, Miquel has has spells in the National League South with Dulwich Hamlet & Eastbourne Borough before joining Chatham Town in January 2024.
Miquel has also representing Guyana 6 times at International level, making his debut during World Cup Qualification in 2021 with his most recent appearances coming in 2023 in the CONCACAF Nations League.
