Folkestone Invicta Football Club can confirm arrangements for our next home fixture when we host Dover Athletic at the Alcaline Stadium in the Isthmian Premier Division on Tuesday 5th November.
Andy Drury lead Invicta to a 3-2 win at Crabble Athletic Ground back in August in front of a crowd of 2,495. It was a great evening for non-league football, both on and off the pitch. Supporters can expect the same again next month for the return fixture as we welcome our neighbours to Cheriton Road for a league fixture for the first time in 20 years.
Ahead of ticket sales opening online we wish to issue the following information to supporters of both clubs:
- We expect that this fixture will attract a bumper crowd. We advise supporters to purchase in advance to avoid disappointment.
- Ticket sales will begin at 8pm on Tuesday 15th October via our ticketing website tickets.folkestoneinvictafc.co.uk
- As with all Isthmian Premier Division fixtures, season tickets are valid for this fixture. Season ticket holders are not required to purchase an additional ticket.
- Any supporters seeking assistance in purchasing tickets or wishing to arrange to purchase tickets in person at The Dugout Sports Bar can contact our team at tickets@folkestoneinvictafc.co.uk
- With the expected attendance on the night, we advise all supporters to arrive as early as possible to ensure a quick and smooth entry into the stadium. The Dugout Sports Bar will be open from 4pm on the day of the match for supporters arriving early.
- Turnstiles at both The Dugout Sports Bar and the Sid Burvill Gates will be in operation.
- Parking around the stadium is limited. We advise supporters to factor this into their travel plans and to use public transport or travel on foot where possible. Supporters requiring parking are advised to arrive as early as possible.
- To try and ensure supply meets demand, matchday programmes are available to purchase online via our ticketing website. Details on how supporters can collect their programme on the night will be communicated in due course.
- An allocation has been made available for visiting supporters.
- Our security staff attended the reverse fixture at Crabble Athletic Ground in August and will be working closely with Dover Athletic’s own security staff.
- Risk supporters will be identified and will not be permitted entry to the stadium.
- Our security team will be on hand throughout the match to ensure all spectators are able to enjoy a trouble free evening.
Any other details and arrangements will be communicated to supporters in due course.
