Folkestone Invicta Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Khale Da Costa.
The winger has trained with the squad over the past fortnight and has now put pen to paper ahead of today’s clash with Hendon at the Alcaline Stadium.
Khale comes with plenty of experience in the National League and National League South, having turned out for clubs such as Barnet, Concord Rangers, St Albans City, Braintree, Chelmsford City and Tonbridge Angels where he played alongside current Invicta goalkeeper Jonny Henly.
The 30-yard-old spent last season in the Isthmian Premier Division, firstly with a second spell at Concord Rangers before signing for Chatham Town in January. He made 5 appearances for Chatham earlier this season but will now be pulling on the black and amber stripes.
Manager Andy Drury spoke about his latest signing: “I’m delighted to sign Khale who was an important member of a Chatham team who had a great season last year. We had to fight off competition to bring him to the club and he’s spent the last couple of weeks in training with the rest of the squad to settle in. He will bring pace, energy and be direct and I look forward to working with him, while he should also be a player the fans enjoy watching.”
Welcome to Charlton Road, Khale.
