Folkestone Invicta Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Jamie Mascoll.
A product of Dulwich Hamlet’s academy, Jamie made is senior debut in October 2014 during a London Senior Cup tie against Thamesmead Town. Loan spells at Phoenix Sports, Cray Wanderers and Grays Athletic came over the next 3 seasons.
In August 2017 he signed for EFL League One side Charlton Athletic following a trial and joined up with their under 23 squad. Jamie made his profession debut in an EFL Trophy tie against Fulham in November 2017 and scored his first professional goal in the same competition against AFC Wimbledon in September 2018.
After spending 2 years at Charlton, including a loan spell back at Dulwich Hamlet, Jamie departed in 2019 for Wycombe Wanderers where he was part of the squad that won promotion to the EFL Championships with a playoff win at Wembley.
Jamie headed north in 2021 to Bolton Wanderers in EFL League Two, making 7 appearances as they won promotion to League One. He also spent time on loan at League of Ireland side Waterford, making 16 appearances.
After leaving Bolton in 2022, Jamie headed back into non-league with Wealdstone in the National League.
Jamie has spent the past 2 seasons in the Isthmian Premier Division, making appearances for Lewes, Hornchurch, Cray Wanderers and Chatham Town.
Jamie has made 2 appearances for Invicta this summer, coming on as a substitute against Maidstone United before playing the full 90 minutes on Saturday at Tonbridge Angels.
Manager Andy Drury spoke about his latest addition to the squad: “I’m really pleased to sign Jamie. He’s got a very good pedigree for this level having played in the football league and has reached the playoffs in this division in both of the past 2 seasons. He is a great addition to the squad and will give us some great competition with Frankie [Morgan] at left back.”
