Folkestone Invicta Football Club would like to announce the departure of our esteemed groundsman and goalkeeping coach, Gary Towse, after a remarkable 60+ years of dedicated service.

Gary’s journey at Folkestone began as a young ball boy when his father played for the club, before then going on to become a player himself. Gary later set up our youth section with Mick Dix, chairing it for a number of years.

Over the decades, Gary’s care and attention of our grounds, as well as his expert coaching, has played a significant role in our successes and growth as a club.

We are profoundly grateful for Gary’s tireless efforts, loyalty and love he has shown to the club, and wish him all the best for the future.

Gary joins Neil Cugley and Jim Pellatt as honorary life members of Folkestone Invicta FC.
