Under the charge of player-coach Andy Drury, Invicta fell to defeat at Champion Hill on Saturday in front of a crowd of over 3,000.
Invicta made just the 1 change to the XI that started at home to Haringey Borough on Tuesday night as Scott Heard returned from illness to replace Ira Jackson Jr.
The afternoon got off to the worst possible start as Dulwich took the lead inside 3 minutes. A corner from the right fell to defender Michael Chambers in the middle of the penalty area who turned and fired low past Joe Coleman.
The hosts extended their lead in the 26th minute as Coleman parried a vicious cross from the left from Anthony Jeffrey, with veteran forward Danny Mills able to head home from close range.
Kane Penn halved the deficit just minutes later, a Scott Heard cross from the right was collected beyond the far post by Toby Byron who battled 2 defenders to cut the ball back across to his fellow fullback to fire home his first goal for the club.
Any hopes of an Invicta cutback were ended just 3 minutes before the break as another Jeffrey cross, this time along the floor, ricocheted off of Ayuk Tarh and fell nicely for Ryley Scott to bend into the top corner.
With the second half goalless and the game petering out, captain Callum Davies was dismissed after going into a 50-50 challenge just inside the Dulwich half, his first ever sending off for Invicta.
Invicta will look to regroup this week as we head into consecutive home fixtures against Bognor Regis Town (25th November) and Cray Wanderers (2nd December).
