After a run of away fixtures Invicta finally return home, welcoming Billericay Town to the Alcaline Stadium

Previously

Invicta took 4 points from the meetings between the 2 sides last season; coming from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at New Lodge in August before a 1-1 draw at the Alcaline Stadium in January.

Invicta are unbeaten in 5 against the Essex outfit, having been the only club in the Isthmian Premier Division not to have suffered defeat to Glenn Tamplin’s side in 2017/18 as they went on to win the league and promotion to the National League South.

The Opposition

Our visitors have started the Isthmian Premier Division season strongly, going 2nd behind Hornchurch on Tuesday evening with a 2-0 win over Chatham Town.

The are unbeaten in 4 away league fixtures so far this season, picking up 10 points, although have not played an away Isthmian League fixture since 23rd September. Away travels have been very much a rarity for Billericay with them having played 11 of their last 12 matches at home.

They also reached the 4th Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup, losing to Sheppey United on penalties after a replay with the Ites going on to host Walsall in the 1st Round.

They do remain battling on a number of fronts however, still competing in the FA Trophy, Velocity Trophy and Essex Senior Cup.
