Folkestone Invicta Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Elliott Moore.

Having spent 10 years at Gillingham before his departure earlier this year, Elliott has been with us throughout pre-season and featured in all of our fixtures featuring mainly at right back.

The 18 year old was part of the Gillingham side that beat Plymouth Argyle & Wigan Athletic on their way to the 5th round of the FA Youth Cup last season.

Moore also spent time last season on loan at SCEFL outfit Kennington with 3 goals in 14 appearances from right back quickly making him a fans favourite.

Moore has also signed for Deal Town on a dual registration and will join up with Steve King’s squad for their friendly fixture tonight against Dover Athletic, ahead of the new SCEFL season on Saturday when they travel to Fisher.

“We’ve seen a lot of Elliott while he’s been with us this past month and he’s impressed both in training and during our pre-season matches. We rate him highly and think he has a lot of potential so we are delighted to bring him into our squad and to also get him signed on with Deal Town. We working with Steve King last season when Lenny Atherton joined them and it is a great place for Elliott to continue his development into men’s football. We will be speaking to Kingy regularly and keeping a very close eye on how Elliott progresses in what will be a very competitive SCEFL this season.”
