Folkestone Invicta Football Club are delighted to announce the return of Andy Drury as a player-coach.

The former Luton Town, Ipswich Town & Crawley Town midfielder, with 151 Football League appearances to his name, enjoyed a spell at Cheriton Road during the 21/22 season, joining from Cray Wanderers in January 2022 before departing to take up the manager position at Whitstable Town.

Andy spent the first half of last season as manager at Margate before putting his boots back on to sign for Chatham Town as part of the side that would go on to win the Isthmian South East Division title, earning promotion to the Premier Division.

“We are getting a player and a coach with a wealth of experience, from over 150 games in the football league to what he has done as a player, coach and manager in non-league football. He’s a player who still has the quality and is as fit as he’s ever been and hisexperience and knowledge of the game will be a real asset to us both on and off the pitch.” – Micheal Everitt

Andy spoke to Invicta TV on Friday afternoon so keep your eyes peeled to hear from our latest addition to the club.
