Potters Bar Town

Unsurprisingly, Carshalton Athletic are predicted to finish top as last season they finished second before losing against Merstham in the Play-Off Semi-Finals. ‘The Robins’ have virtually an unchanged squad and so should be there and thereabouts at the end of the season.

The other Play-Off places are predicted to be filled by Worthing, Haringey Borough, Folkestone Invicta and Bognor Regis Town. Last season only Haringey Borough finished in the Play-Off places from the quartet, but the others were all in the top half of the table.

At the wrong end of the table, Potters Bar Town have been predicted to finish rock bottom, so I’m sure ‘The Scholars’ will be wanting to prove everyone wrong, whilst newly promoted Cheshunt are tipped to fill the other relegation place, last season this was where Haringey Borough were predicted to finish and they certainly proved everyone wrong! Wingate & Finchley avoided relegation on the last day of last season and they are predicted to finish third from bottom, although as explained in a previous article there is only a 50/50 chance of going down as only two of the four clubs third from bottom will be relegated, dependent on Points Per Game (PPG).

It will be interesting to return to this at the end of April! If not before!
