Looking Ahead to Saturday

Whilst Invicta haven’t got a game on Saturday, there is still a busy schedule in the BetVictor Isthmian League Premier Division, Emirates F.A. Cup and Buildbase F.A. Trophy over the weekend.

Starting with the League, there are four games on Saturday. One of them sees Bowers & Pitsea visit 2nd placed Horsham, so we could have new League leaders at five o’clock on Saturday.

Cray Wanderers

vs

Horsham

vs

Bowers & Pitsea

Lewes

vs

Wingate & Finchley

The fixtures for the three remaining sides that are playing in the First Round Proper are split over the weekend, but don’t forget there are four Isthmian League sides still in the competition as South-East Division Chichester City are already in the Second Round Proper as they drew the bye available following the demise of Bury, which left an odd number of teams in the First Round. (As usual, the clubs’ Division is shown after them, P = Premier and N = North).

Firstly the games shown are those that affect the Premier Division sides and then below that are the fixtures for the other Step 4 sides not already mentioned that are still remaining. (There are clubs from all four Divisions still in the competition, so, P = Premier, N = North, SC = South-Central and SE = South-East).

There is also a First Qualifying Round fixture which sees South-Central Division Bedfont Sports Club visit Hitchin Town. Having originally won 3-0, they then won the replay 1-0.
