VOLUNTEERS' HARD WORK HAS GIVEN INVICTA AS GOOD A STADIUM AS ANY IN THE BOSTIK PREMIER DIVISION

Folkestone Invicta's Commercial Executive Mark Hardie has thanked our wonderful volunteers for all their hard work during the season that has put the Fullicks Stadium into such an excellent condition as we look forward to the season kicking off at home to Enfield Town on Saturday.

Writing on the club’s Facebook page Mark has praised the efforts of these unsung heroes whose

contribution over so many years is one of the main factors that helps keep Folkestone Invicta moving forward to arguably the strongest position that the club has ever been in.

Chairman Paul Morgan added "I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who gave up their time and helped out once again.

“They have done some fantastic work around the ground often without being asked and the stadium has rarely looked better.

“On behalf of myself, the board, and the management I want to publicly thank everyone one of them.”

Heatwave

Manager Neil Cugley is also delighted with the condition that the pitch is in, despite the ongoing heatwave which has left some clubs in other parts of the country struggling to make kick-off day as the new season begins.

Neil said: “Our playing surface is as good as any that we play on and far better than most. That gives us the chance to produce the kind of football that we want to and which the fans love to watch.”

Our supporters club are always looking for more volunteers, however, and if you can help please contact Clive Arnold, John Law or Mick Cork on any matchday at The Fullicks.
