Midfielder Jordan Wright has joined Bostik Division One South Faversham Town on loan for a month and is expected to be in their squad for this weekend’s visit to play-off contenders Greenwich Borough at Eltham.

The 23-year-old was recently on loan at Ashford United and Imvicta boss Neil Cugley said: “They’ve had a lot of changes there and unfortunately it didn’t quite work out for Jordan at Homelands.

“We wish him well with Ray Turner and Clive Walker at Faversham. But he’ll be back with us for the final month of the season.”

Jordan will be among friends at Salter’s Lane where former Invicta players Ashley Miller, Ryan Cooper and the legend that is Carl Rook are all in the Lilywhites’ squad.

Neil Cugley says: “Jordan needs games and it’s good housekeeping from our point of view. We’ve let Ryan and now Jordan go there, while at the same time bringing in Jerald (Agoabye) and Johan (Ter Horst) inside the last month.

“We can’t just collect players here. As good clubmen as virtually all the players we have had are, they can get restless (if they're not playing) and the wage bill can easily get out of hand.

"Too many clubs are having those kind of problems just lately.

“We’re working with 14 or 15 senior players plus the youth team lads on the bench and I’m happy with that.”
