We will be NOT be in the red tomorrow! Gills' interest in top Bostik clash

For all our dedicated followers of fashion, we can confirm that Folkestone Invicta will be wearing amber – yellow if those pedants amongst insist – shirts AND shorts for tomorrow’s eagerly awaited meeting with league leaders Dulwich Hamlet at Champion Hill tomorrow.

Manager Neil Cugley said: “Dulwich’s pink and very dark blue clashes a little bit with our red change strip, so we’ll be in the amber (yellow) shirts and shorts.

“We’ve worn those colours recently (at Brightlingsea) and came away with the three points, so let's hope that's an omen.”

Extension

Talks remain ongoing with Gillingham about an extension of Finn O’Mara’s loan and we understand that a fairly high level delegation from the Priestfield club may well be at the game, probably watching much vaunted Hamlet striker Reise Allassani, though the names of two others of the home side have also been mentioned.

But no doubt they’ll also be there to see how Finn (pictured) is doing, while several more of our players have been in the kind of form lately to suggest they could cope with higher than the Bostik Premier Division.

As if we needed anything more, this meeting of first and third in the table, looks like being a lively old affair!
