Two goals from Met Police striker Lloyd Macklin midway through a disappointing second period saw Folkestone come away pointless from Imber Court.

They had gone ahead after just four minutes when Jordan Wright laid on a chance for Ian Draycott (PICTURED) that the striker converted from close range for his first goal of the season.

But the home side were level ten minutes later through defender Jay Gasson .

Wright found another opening for Invicta just after the half hour, giving Joe Taylor a tap-in but his effort was ruled out for offside.

Scott Heard forced a save from Cops’ keeper Luke Williams but things went dowhill for Folkestone around the 70 minute mark when the Police were awarded a penalty which Macklin converted easily and six minutes later the same player found the net again.
